Pass:  bbc4free.blogspot.com

Kurt Vonnegut's absurdist classic Slaughterhouse-Five introduces us to Billy Pilgrim, a man who becomes unstuck in time after he is abducted by aliens from the planet Tralfamadore. In a plot-scrambling display of virtuosity, we follow Pilgrim simultaneously through all phases of his life, concentrating on his (and Vonnegut's) shattering experience as an American prisoner of war who witnesses the firebombing of Dresden.

Total length: 5 hours, 59 minutes

  1. This book portrays a tragic war story along with with insights of a mans life throughout time. Both witty and mocking this story needs to be reread to really understand the message that is trying to be sent out. But know that for students in lower highschool it is very hard to understand and comprehend all that is being said.

    1. Thank you for the (first ever!) comment, if you could recommend a better version of audiobook, I'd be glad to dig it up for you.

      Keep listening!
